Cristina Moroño: Second Chance

Spanish artist Cristina Moroño incorporates elements of old books, paint and everyday objects in her series of artworks. Moroño places the fading texts of the old books against new paper and sharp colours of paint as a juxtaposition to reflect a vanishing past and a fleeting present. Each piece of old text is a personal memento documenting a particular time in her life.
