Chances are You’ll Like it All Ways

Puerto-Rican American artist Enoc Perez presents a new series of oil paintings at Ben Brown Fine Arts. Interestingly, they feature bottles of liquor and cocktails – you’ll see Bacardi rum and Moutai baijiu on the walls rendered with sensory richness. Almost as alluring as alcohol ads, these paintings are at once a commentary on the deceptive appeal of consumer culture and also Perez’s own 15-year journey from addiction to sobriety.
