Brilliant City

Brilliant City features the work of a culturally-diverse group of seven artists- Francis Alÿs, Chen Wei, Stan Douglas, Li Qing, Michael Lin, Gordon Matta-Clark, and Ming Wong. They illustrate the perplexity and brilliance of Hong Kong’s landscape at night, depicting the strong feeling of loss, confusion and doubt amongst the youth. From bicycles to photographs, it’s a space of layered complexity.
