Beyond Borders of Mahjong

Beyond Borders of Mahjong is a collaborative exhibition between three Hong Kong artists – photographer AndyPoll, hand-carved mahjong master Ricky Cheung, and artist Karen Aruba. Held at HKI Gallery from now until August 13, the exhibition explores the traditional craftmanship of hand-carved mahjong tiles, revealing the skills and intricacies of each process from calligraphy and design to the carving and painting process.
