Coinciding with Art Basel Hong Kong, British sculptor Antony Gormley’s latest solo exhibition presents a series of sculptures that apply plant-like branching systems to map a human body in space. Some works appear to be rooted in the ground while others are designed to be perpetually in freefall. Made of iron, the works draw upon a wide range of cultural references including Greek key patterns and cloud patterns of ancient China.
