Acclaimed French photographer and filmmaker Antoine d’Agata, best known for his contributions to The Magnum Photos agency, shares 30 colour and black-and-white photographs and a video installation for his solo exhibition in Hong Kong. Concurrent with Art Basel and Sound Island Art Day, the exhibition pays tribute to d’Agata’s radical and unique vision over the past 30 years. Expect works that deal with prostitution, urban violence and drugs as he celebrates the dignity and beauty of the underdogs.
Be on the lookout for the stage production Odysseia between May 8-10, which brings d’Agata’s works to life directed and performed by Fabrice Michel.
