On the south side of the Clyde, very close to the Glasgow Bridge, Nur is an Egyptian restaurant that has been on the scene for more than five years. The menu is all about charcoal-grilled chicken and lamb, dips, meze and tagines, while the premises also host belly dancing and cookery classes. They’re happy with BYOB (£3.95 per bottle of wine, 75p for beer).
