Despite having one of the all-time most boring names in pop, Colin MacIntyre’s Mull Historical Society had a pretty impressive innings in the early noughties, when his albums ‘Loss’ and ‘Us’ troubled the Top 40 and scooped strong reviews. He tours the latter – Q magazine’s best album of 2001, no less – in full with a band in its, um, 14th anniversary year.
