Scottish funksters from Dundee, still going strong several decades on from their 1970s heyday, when they effectively managed to sell coals to Newcastle by scoring several smash hits in the US, principally with the James Brown-pilfering ‘Pick Up The Pieces’. They’ve since become among the most sampled artists of all time.
