The Arthouse

Despite the name changes over the years, from Arthouse to Abode and back to Arthouse again, this hotel has fascinating architectural roots, a stylish sensibility, a quaint old cage lift to take you to upper floors and some lovely design touches. It remains part of the small Abode Hotel Group – swishness from London to Scotland – and couldn't be handier for the shops, bars and other attractions in Glasgow's city centre grid.
