Like many other baronial piles around the country, Sherbrooke Castle isn't a castle in the medieval sense. It's more of a late Victorian country house of some heft but with turrets and a flagpole and a serious sense of grandeur. Sitting in the south of the city, the interior can big up the baronial theme with the odd four poster while other rooms look unarguably boutique. People love it as a wedding venue but it's a Glasgow hotel worth serious consideration, handy for both Bellahouston Park and Pollok Country Park with their various attractions.
