Hilton Glasgow

Okay, so no one is going to contend that this is a unique, characterful slice of authentic Glasgow but it is one of the relatively few local hotels rated as five star by VisitScotland for amenities and services. What's more, it's a Hilton so you know exactly what you're going to get. But – and we all like big buts – it's a soaring great tower of a building in Scottish terms and the views across the city from the upper floors are utterly fantastic.
