Named after the patron saint of brewers (St Augustine of Hippo Regius), Hippo Beers was established by two ale lovers who felt Glasgow drinkers were missing out on access to great beers from across the globe. With at least 300 different beers in stock, including brews from Germany, Belgium, the USA, Iceland, Denmark and of course Scotland, they describe it as a ‘Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory for beer lovers’.
