Well, the eclipse has been and gone for another decade or so, and while there were some deadpan complaints from some quarters about the inconvenient cloud cover, and some indecent gloating about the perfect view from others, Glasgow was caught somewhere in the middle - you could see a bit, but not that much really. It's a state of affairs best summed up by that classic defeatist Scottish double negative: 'no bad'.
