Glasgow is set to get a new venue inspired by all things German when a Bavarian-style beer hall opens next month.
Bavaria Brauhaus will open its doors on Bothwell Street on November 12 and the team behind the venture say they’ve been inspired by the famous Hofbräuhaus in Munich.
The design of the site includes an elaborate ceiling mural in a similar vein to the Hofbräuhaus’ décor.

The venue, located in the former Madness Theatre of Fun, will focus on beers from the southern German state combined with traditional cuisine from Bavaria and the neighbouring country of Austria.
The beer list will revolve around the six beer brands that dominate Munich's brewing scene - Augustiner, Hacker-Pschorr, Hofbräu, Löwenbräu, Paulaner and Spaten - alongside 50 bottled beers from around the world. Wine, spirits and Bavarian-inspired cocktails will also be on offer.
Bavaria Brauhaus, 30 Bothwell Street. Opens November 12.
