Every Saturday morning, at the entrance to the Barri Vell, you'll be welcomed by a rainbow of foliage. The top of La Rambla, on the widest part of this pedestrianised street, is colonised by colourful flowers and plants covering the stalls that each week take over the central section of the avenue. Look upon this flower market as a natural entrance to the amazing heritage that lies throughout the old town – the combination of flowers and the stone buildings is breathtaking.
