After Marc Joli appeared on a popular Catalan TV show, the demand for tables in his Figueres restaurant shot up and, as a result, he had to expand it. The merit of the place isn't just for show on TV, however; Joli is well skilled at the head of the kitchen of Cal Músic (the name pays homage to his grandfather, a renowned musician in the area), where everyone can find something on the menu that will meet their tastes, from the most classic to the most innovative. Joli uses fresh, local products, fusing them with other gastronomic cultures. Special mention needs to be made of the steamed prawn and 'botifarra' sausage ravioli, and the fondant brioche with cheese and truffle.
