As if it were the workshop of an alchemist, in the kitchen of L'Horta they experiment with Catalan recipes and quality, local ingredients with the aim of serving modern cuisine at reasonable prices. And believe me, they meet that goal. They're masters of 'platillos' (small dishes of food), and the most typical stews of the Empordà: rabbit with 'botifarra' sausage, and snails with langoustines from Port de la Selva... they'll transport you back to a more traditional Empordà. The dish that's most in demand is the cod with pig's trotters and black sausage - masterful! They have a set menu during the week at an extremely reasonable rate if you bear in mind the quality on offer. What's more, they also have a menu that changes according to what's in season.
