Octopuss (CLOSED)

Just throw in the towel now – you won't be able to resist its pull. Because what's on offer at the Octopuss Tapas & Music Club, located just in front of the Port de la Clota in L'Escala, is a terrace with sea views – on the horizon, boats bob up and down, moved by the tramuntana wind, while on your skin the salt and light of the Mediterranean dance. Opened in 1995, you'll find locals and tourists alike in this sea-themed bar enjoying a drink (the house gin and tonics are a particular favourite), tapas, DJ sessions or a Sunday aperitif with live music (jazz, rock, blues, flamenco...), and they also organise the Jazz at the Port event.
