Formerly Scotland's oldest independent department store (until it was bought out by House of Fraser in 2005), Jenners is known as the 'Harrods of the North' for both the variety of retailers it hosts and the upmarket clientele it attracts. Over several floors you can shop for designer wares from Armani, Calvin Klein, Jaeger, Hugo Boss, Delonghi, Le Creuset and more, while no Christmas is complete without a visit to check out its enormous Christmas tree and the alluring toy department in the basement.
