Just at the west end of Princes Street, Ryan’s is a busy bar-restaurant but with a dedicated steak and seafood eatery in the basement: the Cellar. The street level bar is often busy with drinkers, pub grub and football on the telly; downstairs is different. Quiet with soft lighting and some alcove seating, you come here for mains like plaice, scallops, sea bass or an 8oz steak. Jazz sessions last Sunday of every month.
