North Bridge Brasserie

This building used to house the Scotsman newspaper but it vacated in 2001 and the Scotsman Hotel took over, North Bridge Brasserie forming part of the new business. Décor is chic and lush; the modern British menus cover breakfast, set lunch, pre-theatre, children and gluten-free dining as well as actual dinner. Typical mains from the latter would be monkfish with artichoke, chicken wings, chanterelle and lemon – or a 10oz sirloin with peppercorn sauce (chips extra).
