The first ever Hotel Malmaison opened in Leith as long ago as 1994, bringing with it this Brasserie, obviously refurbished down the years and currently plush with dark wood and white linen. The menu is largely modern European these days but deviates in places with the likes of Thai BBQ chicken lollipops, Goan prawn curry, New York-style strip steak and other grills.
