La Garrigue feels like a labour of love for chef-proprietor Jean Michel Gauffre who is evangelical about the food of Languedoc. The venue has rustic, designer furniture, deep blue décor and an award-winning wine list. When it comes to the menu, you could try a plate of smoked swordfish, asparagus and poutargue to start; duck breast with chanterelles and parsley potatoes as a main perhaps.
