A steak restaurant on the first floor of the Rutland Hotel in the city’s west end, Kyloe delivers what it promises and even the décor features cow hide. You don’t have to eat the meat – you could have cauliflower soup then a mezze plate instead – but if you do then it ranges from a 225g rump steak (£16.50) to an 800g Porterhouse for two or three people (£68.00); sauces and sides extra.
