Assembly George Square

A hub for the sprawling Assembly Festival Fringe programme (not to be confused with the Assembly Rooms, located further north in the New Town). Have a beer and a snack in the buzzing Assembly Garden before heading off to see a show at one of several spiegeltented venues, or tucked away inside one of the surrounding Edinburgh University buildings.
