Cult post-punk-funk band formed in 1977, signed to Factory Records and managed in their heyday by Factory’s legendary impresario Tony Wilson – resulting in them featuring quite prominently in the 2002 Manchester music scene comedy-drama film ‘24 Hour Party People’.
