Could you survive if you were faced with a horde of zombies? Find out this Halloween as the undead prepare to take over Edinburgh for the Comas Zombie Chase.
Pilrig Park has been declared a biohazard area and brave volunteers are being sought to assist in a raid on the park to eradicate the zombie threat. You’ll be met with various challenges and obstacles to overcome – all while being chased by the walking (or quite possibly running) dead.
Three different games are being held throughout the day with something for all ages.
Under 12s can join in with the Mini Monster Chase – a game of zombie tag – from 2-4pm, teens and young adults aged 12-17 are invited to take part in the fast-paced Mind Sucker Quest from 5-8pm. For the adults, Hunted by the Undead is terrifying immersive chase taking place from 9-11pm where you’ll have to battle through trials and obstacles while trying to stay alive.
A bar serving soft drinks and alcohol will also be open after the over-18s event.
The event is raising money for Comas, an Edinburgh-based social innovation charity, and will be their first large-scale event. Participants can either pay upfront for their entrance fee, or raise the fund by gathering sponsorship through the charity’s JustGiving page.
So, are you brave enough to take on the undead this Halloween?
