Did you stay up until the early hours to catch the 'blood moon' over the skies of Edinburgh today?
The rare event occurs when a 'supermoon' - that's when the Moon looks larger because of its in the closet part of its orbit to the Earth - coincides with a lunar eclipse. It last happened in 1982 and isn't expected to occur again until 2033.
If you weren't up and about, don't worry about it - social media users in Edinburgh stayed up to capture it so you didn't have to.
