Festival Square

Large, open plaza backed by the Sheraton Grand Hotel and looking across to the West End's cultural corner: the Usher Hall, the Traverse and the Royal Lyceum Theatre. Occasionally a draw thanks to the big BBC screen's live streaming of Wimbledon and other major sporting events, the space is also utilised for special events held by Edinburgh' various festivals (which may have something to do with the name).
