Time Out says

Brought to you by restaurateur Elaine Murphy (The Winding Stair, The Grand Social, The Woollen Mills, The Washerwoman, and The Yarn Pizza), Legal Eagle is the gastropub that other supposed “gastropubs” aspire to be. Its exposed brick and birch furniture may look familiar, but the artisanal flatbreads and natural wine are original concepts. The comfortable, contemporary environment mimics the menu of traditional Irish products served in innovative ways. Huge jars of pickled eggs catch eyes at the bar, while seated patrons have class views of strung charcuterie and a wood fire oven. When nothing else feels right, return to childhood with Legal Eagle’s homemade crisp sandwich made with Coolattin cheddar and candied bacon on sourdough.

Time Out tip: Even the snack menu serves large portions so come hungry and order accordingly.
