Benčić Truffles

The first of its kind to open in Motovun in 2000, Benčić Truffles is a friendly, family-run establishment offering a huge range of truffle-infused products; from truffle salt to truffle rakija to truffle pasta. Truffles are an acquired taste; if you don't want to buy whole truffles and make them yourself, olive oil infused with truffles is a more subtle way to get the taste across. Besides the usual maps & souvenirs, they also offer recipes in various languages, while a video loops on the screen on the wall showing the process of gathering, harvesting and cooking truffles.
