Zagreb's first Michelin star winner, Noel is a sizzling hot restaurant dedicated to the flux of trends in modern European cooking. This upscale restaurant mixes the best of Croatian with nouvelle experimentation, with a reassuringly small list of mains that play to local strengths. Plates of Adriatic seafood are given inspired flavour combinations by chef Goran Kočiš - the sea urchin risotto with grapefruit is extraordinary. As you'd expect, portions tend towards the small side but are beautifully well garnished. Mains are priced upwards of 140kuna, four and seven-course taster menus are available. The decor is polished, and the attentive staff boast military timing.
