The ‘Little Paradise’ is just that, a gorgeous spot by the side of the lake in the heart of Mljet’s National Park. At sunset, you just can’t beat it. Standard Dalmatian dishes accompany the view – grilled squid, grilled fish platter, octopus salad – but you can equally order a plate of home-made cheese and olives, and a couple of glasses of wine, and be treated with equal hospitality by the local family who runs the place. No, this is by no means a gastronomic sensation but nonetheless memorable in its own way.
