Lvxor's café in the heart of the palace is already one of the most popular meeting places in town. Run by the the owners of Marmont Hotel, the first-floor restaurant is one of the Old Town's best options. Crisp white tablecloths, stately burgundy chairs, stone walls and a colourful mural on the ceiling make for a stylish setting in which to dine on rumpsteak stuffed with ham and cheese, or chicken served with pršut and mozzarella. There are plenty of salads, pastas and risottos if you're lunching on the light side, and the desserts (strudels, tiramisu and cakes) are well worth a splurge.
