This delightful inland village of old stone houses, has two konobas close to each other: Stori Gusti offers honest local food in simple surroundings; Konoba Toni goes that little bit further. Dark wood benches and tables line the vine-covered terrace amid all manner of pots, presses, barrels and traditional cooking utensils. Inside, there’s a huge open fire, normally with a lamb turning on a spit and stills for making wine and spirits. All ingredients are sourced locally (the seafood supplied by fishermen from nearby Postira) and most are home-produced, including the signature Toni brandies. Tonči and Pave also offer an apartment here and in Postira.
