Hidden way in an alley just off the main road into the Varoš quarter, this is another excellent family-run konoba in an area that’s increasingly well-known for them, with 5 or 6 tables squeezed into a homely dining room slightly below street level. Matejuška very much sticks to the basics: grilled fresh fish priced by weight (they’ll show you what they’ve got and let you choose). The tuna marinaded in red wine and herbs makes an excellent 2-person starter. Prices are fair; and the house wine is good and cheap.
