Zagreb's 6th annual Burger Festival kicks off next week. This is one of the most popular street food festivals in the country.
This year, the event is moving to a new location on Dr. Franjo Tuđman Square - after Zagreb authorities banned all food festivals from being held within the Lenuci Horseshoe zone.
Providing the grub will be classical favorites such as El Toro, The Burger Bar, BBQ Hot Yard, Brewbites, and Reshetke International - plus newcomers Festina Lente from Šibenik and Gulos from Dubrovnik. Guests will be able to enjoy burgers by celebrity chefs Mate Janković and Ivan Pažanin.
As always, the audience will get to choose the best burger of the year. And there's yet another competition (one especially favoured by the audience): a chili-eating contest sponsored by brand Volim Ljuto.
Also ensuring good vibes all around is a top-notch DJ program, led by Ozren Kanceljak, Phat Phillie, Rea, Babilonska and Niki B.
