Across from Zagreb University’s Faculty of Humanities, beside a café, the easy-to-miss Vege Fino za sve is a little hole in the wall serving some of the city’s best vegan street food.

All ingredients are sourced from partner farm Vege&Dobro just over the border in Slovenia, and are entirely GMO-free, organic, and farmed ecologically and sustainably.

These ingredients are combined to create a selection of burgers, falafel, sausages, stew and vegan ćevapi rissoles for an incredibly attractive price – especially if ordered in person. While available via delivery apps in the city, all items are 30% cheaper if purchased over the counter – and first-time orders at the window are slashed by 50%. If the dishes catch your attention, a loyalty card system offers guests a €4 discount for every tenth order (or a free small sandwich or portion of stew).

The place is owned and operated by a friendly duo, Đurđica and Berislav, who have been selling their delicious food for nine years, made memorable by their genuine human touch. The experience is relaxed and the food tasty – fittingly, as the name roughly translates as 'Vegetarian - Tasty For All'.

The spreads and sauces used in their sandwiches and burgers are also available for purchase at the restaurant, tantalisingly displayed as you peer through the service window. The spreads are produced in small batches in collaboration with Vege&Dobro.

Though unavailable in English, a menu with pictures of each item is available on the website – but remember, these prices will be cheaper in person!
