In more great news for Croatian tourism, state ferry company Jadrolinija has just announced the return of the Zadar-Ancona service for passengers crossing the Adriatic to and from Italy.
From June 23 to July 17, and September 1-9, the ferry will operate once a week, overnight from Ancona on Thursdays and back from Zadar during the day on Fridays. In high season, between July 18 and August 18, the service moves to twice a week, with Monday and Tuesday added, the times adjusted to either side of the weekend during the third week of August.
On offer are two-person cabins, passenger seats and deck tickets, plus vehicle transport. The crossing takes between seven and nine hours.
For details, see the Jadrolinija website.
The news follows Croatia’s successful presentation at Milan’s major Bit tourist fair this month.
