Top of the chops: Noel restaurant opens swanky new butchers in Zagreb

Advertising

Smart destination restaurant Noel has opened a new butchery next to their venue on Dukljanina. Dealing in only the finest boutique meat, Mes-eko is the first butchers of its kind to open in Zagreb: special cuts include black Slovonian pork and red and black Angus beef, all raised nearby in Kordun at the organically certified Mandic family farm. Meatheads in search of high-quality local produce can find an array of home-cured meat, spice rubs and fancy pork scratchings. Noel's chief sommelier Ivan Jug has also provided the butchers with a selection of fine wines to complement your free range, dry aged, pasture-fed meat. Fancy, eh?

RECOMMENDED: the best restaurants in Zagreb.
