Spring is finally upon us, and as the weather grows warmer, our attention turns to cooling treats. From a tiny factory on the island of Krk, Dalibor Jurina produces some unforgettable gelato, refining his recipes for over 14 years. The latest offering is a range of organic ice creams made without dairy, sugar, gluten, artificial colourants, stabilisers or emulsifiers.

Jurina has been working with a local nutritionist and 'Krk Food Revolution' ambassador Sabina Barbiš to create a superb line of dairy-free ice creams that taste convincingly good. They offer a soft and fruity mango sorbet, creamy hazelnut, green matcha, forest fruits and raw chocolate option.
Gelati d'Oro has swapped the starch-based sweetener for Xylitol, extracted from birch bark, which contains 40% fewer calories than sugar. A dollop of the hazelnut ice cream contains just 100 calories, while the mango sorbet under 70. For once, you can guzzle ice cream and pretend that its good for you.
