For the next two weeks, free guided walking tours will be introducing visitors to the charming historic Istrian settlements of Pićan and Gračišće, Pazin, Tinjan and Sveti Loreč.

While many flock to the popular resorts of Poreč and Rovinj, the Istrian interior dotted with medieval communities remains off the beaten tourist track.

Tours take place on four consecutive days, from Mondays to Thursdays, until June 15, then start again in August. Guides speak English and Croatian. All age groups are welcome but some of the walks can be quite steep, up cobbled streets – sensible footwear may be required.

Reservations are required for these free tours – contact info@contineo.com.hr or call +385 52 621 045/+385 98 982 8045. For more details, see here.
