From next Monday, April 24, local guides will be taking cyclists on five free tours by mountain bike around Istria. Every weekday until June, two-wheeled excursions will be setting off from Poreč, Funtana, Tar-Vabriga, Kaštelir and Vižinada.
On the way, cyclists can take in caves and forests, a sculpture park and an observatory. Routes range from 20km and 45km in length, and from easy to intermediate levels. The lower age limit is 14. Bike equipment, including helmets, can be hired. Cyclists should bring their own food and drink with them.
Anyone interested should book at least 12 hours ahead of time by calling +385 91 604 1723 or emailing bikecenterporec@gmail.com. For more information, see here.
