Judges at London’s prestigious International Property Awards have just bestowed one of their top honours on the Dalmatia Tower in Split. Croatia’s tallest skyscraper, where the country’s first AC Hotel by Marriott is due to open, stands 135 metres high in the city’s burgeoning commercial zone along ulica Dominskog rata near the Joker shopping mall.

First established in 1993, the International Property Awards grant annual recognition to projects across nine regions and countries, and in four categories. The Dalmatia Tower gained its award in Architectural Solutions for Commercial High-Rises.

The new landmark, integral to the Westgate Split complex, will also house offices once bureaucratic clearance is given to the AC Hotel by Marriott.
