Visitors came in record numbers for Zagreb’s Festival of Lights that transformed Croatia’s capital over the course of the last five days. Beaming projections onto the city’s most historic buildings, multimedia artists worked their magic at around 30 sites in the Lower and Upper Towns.
Of the many highlights, two stand out in particular. The mystical Secret Life of the Forest (pictured above) was conceived by the creative team of the Umjetnost za grad association dedicated to arts projects in public spaces, while Odd Dynamics (lead photo), projected onto the Mimara Museum provided its own take on the progress of industrial revolutions, from steam engines to AI.
