Bristol beat legends Massive Attack have been confirmed as headliners for Zagreb’s biggest summer festival, INmusic, taking place next year between June 23-25.
Joining other top names Kings of Leon, Fontaines D.C. and St Vincent, the originators of trip-hop took to the stage once more in June 2024 after a five-year absence to play a number of European dates.
Promoting, among other things, decarbonisation in the music industry, the band currently features two of the members from the original line-up, Robert Del Naja and Daddy G.
Also confirmed this weekend for the upcoming 17th edition of INmusic is UK singer-songwriter Michael Kiwanuka, best known for his 2012 debut Home Again, and who has just released a fourth studio album, Small Changes, which he’ll be promoting next summer.
Founded in 2006, INmusic takes place at Lake Jarun, an easy hop by public transport in Zagreb. Past headliners have included Arcade Fire, Nick Cave and the Arctic Monkeys.
As well as its idyllic setting, the festival is known for its affordable admission. Currently you can buy a pass for all three days for €112, including a €3 transaction fee, as well as a week-long camping ticket for €62, if paired with festival admission. For more information, see here.
