Just opened at the Venice Architecture Biennale, the Croatia Pavilion takes its lead from the Lonjsko polje wetlands, the largest area of its kind in the Danube basin and one of 12 nature parks in Croatia.

Created by Mia Roth and Tonči Čerina, Same as it Ever Was celebrates the symbiosis of wild nature and the culture around it, and gives rise to a series of workshops and discussions over the course of the event, which runs until November 26. These complement the installation at the Arsenale and take place around the region, in Croatia, Slovenia and Italy.
