The Manhattan-based band Interpol are giving a concert on the island of Krk this Wednesday, July 19. Formed in 1997 during the height of the post-punk revival, Interpol draw their influences from Joy Division, Echo & The Bunnymen and Television.
With international groups usually playing big stadiums and venues in Zagreb, this is a rare chance for local fans to see a gig in the more intimate setting of a Croatian island. The setting is the Diamond Club, five minutes' drive from Malinska on the northern tip of Krk. Standard tickets are €39, VIP €79.
For more information, check the event's Facebook page. Tickets can be purchased online here.
