The Manhattan-based band Interpol are giving a concert on the island of Krk this Wednesday, July 19. Formed in 1997 during the height of the post-punk revival, Interpol draw their influences from Joy Division, Echo & The Bunnymen and Television.

With international groups usually playing big stadiums and venues in Zagreb, this is a rare chance for local fans to see a gig in the more intimate setting of a Croatian island. The setting is the Diamond Club, five minutes' drive from Malinska on the northern tip of Krk. Standard tickets are 39, VIP 79.

For more information, check the event's Facebook page. Tickets can be purchased online here.

Where: Diamond Club, Žgombići 60, Krk. When: July 19, 7pm. Tickets: €39, €79.
