Returning from July 17-21 for the 58th time, the Zagreb International Folklore Festival honours the traditional culture of groups from all across the world, aiming to promote and preserve native heritage in a globalised society.

Taking place at various locations across the capital, the event will consist of a series of performances, concerts, dances and workshops, showcasing amateur groups passionately dedicated to their local culture. While Croatia’s many regional differences will be celebrated, artists will be appearing from Latvia, Canada, Hungary and Peru.

Much of the programme will take place in the city centre around the main square and Zrinjevac.
